Federline struggle for Britney Spears baby
05.02.05 (5:22 am)   [edit]
BRITNEY SPEARS' one-time love rival SHAR JACKSON fears her ex-fiance KEVIN FEDERLINE can't handle the pressure of fathering the TOXIC singer's child so soon into their rollercoaster marriage.

The MOESHA actress claims the 27-year-old dancer told her he's struggling to cope with Spears' pregnancy, because it has happened within months of the birth of KALEB, his second child with Jackson, his shock wedding and the beginning of his burgeoning pop career, reports British newspaper the DAILY STAR.

She says, "Kevin has told me he's under intense strain and he doesn't know if it will all fall apart.

"In the past year he's broken up with me, been through a bizarre wedding and become father to a new baby, with me, and another on the way with Britney."

Britney Spears Will Star in Reality Show
05.02.05 (5:20 am)   [edit]
With Britney Spears and her husband, Kevin Federline, making headlines with the news that she's pregnant, couple's reality show will premiere on May 17.

The premiere of a special one-hour episode will follow the courtship, engagement and wedding of Britney and Kevin. The series will be based mostly on home video footage, shot by the couple with their own camera.

New footage will include commentary with Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, who were married in September.

"As we all know, Britney and Kevin's life together has been played out in front of the public through Internet speculation, the gossip columnists and entertainment magazines," Dawn Ostroff, president of UPN, said in a statement earlier this week.

“But now, for the first time, their millions of fans will get to see and hear the couple's real story ... as told directly by them.”

The show will lead into Jenny McCarthy's comedy, The Bad Girl's Guide, which premieres May 24.

After childbirth, Britney Spears is expected to go back in front of Hollywood cameras to film "In The Pink". Her co-stars will be Tim Allen and Cher.

Britney Spears: ready to quit for her baby
05.02.05 (5:18 am)   [edit]
Britney Spears says she's not willing to hire a nanny to care for her new bundle of tax breaks and is willing to quit the "music" industry so she can be a good mom. Obvious joke: She's not "in" the "music" industry, but moving on.

If she's unable to bring her daughter (hmmm, should we clear that with the lawyers first?) to he recording studio, on tour and to interviews she'll give it all up so her little precious will have an over-protective pair of implants to care for her.
Obviously absent from any of her remarks is the possibility that her corn-rowed husband Kevin Federline could do something extreme like, say, look after the baby too.

Britney Spears Perfume
05.02.05 (5:06 am)   [edit]
Not only are the stars entertaining us on the silver screen and on stage, they're giving us sweet smells with signature fragrances. If the Celebes are making them, and wearing them, should you be trying them out? CW's Terra Cooney gather a panel of CW sniff-testers to find out what men really think about the perfumes of the stars - and if they'd go crazy smelling them on you!

Britney Spears personifies daring and piques the curiosity of young women everywhere. Jumping on the bandwagon and creating her own scent, Britney Spears captured her signature beauty in a bottle and labeled it Curious. The blonde bombshell teamed up with Los Angeles-based Brand Sense Marketing (those who brokered Elizabeth Arden) and came up with a white floral eau de perfume accented with Louisiana magnolia (to represent her Southern roots) and vanilla-infused musk. Oops...did she do it again?
An advert featuring BRITNEY SPEARS writhing naked with a hunky male model to promote her CURIOUS perfume has been stamped with a restricted rating by British watchdogs.

The 30-second commercial shows the TOXIC singer alone in a hotel room fantasizing about the man in the next room. The action then quickly cuts to a steamy love scene between the two, with viewers unsure if it's really happening or simply in Britney's imagination.

However, the advert can't be shown before 7.30pm on British TV after the BROADCAST ADVERTISING CLEARANCE CENTRE decided its content is too strong for younger viewers.
